Abraham's Vision

Miriam Abed El- Dayyem (Vision Program Co-Facilitator)

Born in Jerusalem, Miriam is a Jaffa-based social activist, facilitator, and project manager. She has her BA in Chemistry from Birzeit University and a Master's degree in the Sociology of Education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has worked as a facilitator on many Palestinian-Israeli inter-group projects including Face to Face-Givat Haviva, the Interreligious Coordinating Council in Israel, the Museum of the Seam, and the Bible Lands museum. Miriam has also worked with the Jerusalem Municipality's Family Department on issues related to women's empowerment. She completed facilitator training courses through the Jerusalem Inter-Cultural Center,the Jerusalem Foundation, Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam (NS/WS), and the Women's Leadership Program at Hebrew University. In addition to her work with Abraham's Vision, Miriam is currently a facilitator for Sadaka-Reut Arab-Jewish Youth Partnership/Youth Movement and Creativity for Peace. Miriam also works with a group of Palestinian and Israeli women journalists in cooperation with NS/WS's School for Peace and the Tawasul Association in Ramallah.
